Full-time, Permanent £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

An established B2B organisation based in Derby is seeking a Content & Social Media Manager to join its growing marketing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on B2B marketer who enjoys creating content, working across multiple brands and turning complex subject matter into engaging content that builds brand awareness and generates commercial opportunities.

You will work closely with technical specialists, sales teams and customers to bring their expertise to life through compelling content across a range of digital channels.

As the Content & Social Media Manager, you will own the content process from planning and filming through to editing, publishing and performance analysis.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and managing a content calendar across multiple brands and channels.
• Filming and editing short‑form and long‑form video at company sites, exhibitions and customer locations.
• Writing scripts, articles, newsletters, captions and social posts in clear, engaging language.
• Repurposing content to create multiple assets from filming days and customer case studies.
• Managing LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and other relevant channels.
• Supporting the growth of new sector‑specific channels and content initiatives.
• Monitoring reach, engagement and inbound opportunities and reporting on performance.
• Managing external videographers, editors and creative suppliers where required.

The ideal candidate will have previous B2B marketing experience and be genuinely hands‑on with content creation. You will be confident filming and editing video, writing copy, creating basic graphics and managing social media channels across multiple brands or projects.

You will be organised, proactive and curious, with the ability to work confidently with technical specialists, salespeople, customers and senior stakeholders. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, Canva, Hootsuite, LinkedIn and YouTube analytics would be expected, alongside a good understanding of social media platforms and content performance.

Experience within a technical B2B environment would be advantageous, as would experience growing a YouTube channel, photography, newsletters or using AI tools to support content production.

This is a hands‑on role with genuine ownership and the opportunity to develop the content presence of an established and growing organisation.

The salary on offer is £40,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
