6 Month Contract

Flagship £120m project

A leading Glasgow architectural practice is seeking an Architect or Architectural Technologist to join their team on a 6‑month contract, supporting delivery of a major £120m mixed‑use development. This is a rare chance to step into a high‑profile project at a critical stage and make a meaningful impact from day one.

If you enjoy the technical intensity of RIBA Stages 4–5 and thrive in fast‑paced, detail‑driven environments, this contract will give you the platform to showcase your expertise on a landmark scheme.

Why this contract is worth your attention

A flagship £120m project: You’ll be joining the team at a pivotal moment, helping drive technical design and delivery on a complex, multi‑building mixed‑use development with real architectural ambition.

Immediate impact: This isn’t a support‑from‑the‑sidelines role. You’ll be hands‑on with technical packages, coordination, consultant engagement and on‑site problem‑solving.

A respected Glasgow studio: You’ll work within a collaborative, well‑structured team known for delivering high‑quality projects across Scotland — with all the tools, support and clarity you need to hit the ground running.

A perfect fit for someone who loves delivery: If you enjoy the detail, the coordination, the technical challenge and the satisfaction of seeing design become reality, this is your environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting the delivery of a £120m mixed‑use development through RIBA Stages 4–5
• Producing and coordinating technical drawings, specifications and detailed packages
• Working closely with consultants, contractors and internal teams to resolve design queries
• Assisting with site coordination, technical compliance and construction‑stage problem‑solving
• Ensuring information is accurate, coordinated and aligned with project standards

What you’ll bring

• Qualified Architect or Architectural Technologist
• Strong experience in RIBA Stages 4–5 (essential)
• Confidence producing detailed technical information and coordinating with wider teams
• Ability to work efficiently within a fast‑moving project environment
• A proactive, delivery‑focused mindset

What’s on offer

• £25-£32p/h
• 6‑month contract with immediate impact
• Hybrid working options
• The chance to add a major £120m project to your portfolio
• A supportive team and a well‑structured project environment
