Senior Recruitment Consultant

We are looking for an experienced billing-focused Data Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in London!

About WPR:

WPR is a specialist recruitment consultancy, part of IDEX Consulting, focused on Transformation, Technology, Data and Operations hiring. We work primarily across the Lloyd's and London insurance market, on both permanent and contract terms, and have been recognised with Recruiter of the Year at the National Insurance Awards in 2024 and 2025. Our consultants build long term relationships with clients and candidates, combining sector insight with genuine technical fluency.

The role:

This is a genuine 360 desk, covering both permanent and contract placements.

You will own the full recruitment lifecycle: business development, client management, candidate sourcing, qualification and offer management.

What we are looking for:

• A proven, consistent billing history, with evidence of sustained performance over multiple years.
• Deep knowledge of the data recruitment market: an ability to speak knowledgeably about different data roles, skill sets, seniority levels and market rates, across both permanent and contract hiring (e.g. Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Analysts, Data Architects, BI Developers).
• Insurance or Financial Services sector experience is not required and will not be prioritised over strong data recruitment credentials.
• Strong business development skills, with a track record of winning and growing client relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• A resilient, organised and self-motivated approach, with the ability to manage a varied desk independently.

What WPR offers:

• A competitive base salary, reflective of experience, plus an uncapped and market leading commission structure.
• The opportunity to build a desk within an award winning, established consultancy, backed by IDEX Consulting.
• A supportive, close-knit team environment with genuine autonomy.
• Ongoing training and market immersion, including sector specific insight to help you transition your data recruitment expertise into the insurance market.
• Clear progression opportunities as the business continues to grow.

Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Mission

We recognise and acknowledge that diverse representation at every level of our business requires continuous and measurable effort. We are committed to driving conscious inclusion across our business and creating equitable pathways.
