Architect - Social & Affordable Housing Projects

Architect

A Glasgow‑based architectural practice with a strong reputation for thoughtful, people‑centred design is looking to appoint a design‑focused Architect to join its growing team. • Producing concept, planning and technical information for housing projects
• Working closely with local authorities, housing associations and community stakeholders
• Ensuring design quality is maintained through delivery
• Supporting junior team members and contributing to studio culture

What we’re looking for

• Qualified Architect with strong design sensibility
• Experience in housing, ideally social or affordable residential would help but is not essential.
• Confident working through early design stages and presenting ideas clearly
• Proficiency in Autocad and Revit (or willingness to upskill quickly)
• Someone collaborative, thoughtful and passionate about creating better places

What’s on offer

• Competitive salary aligned to experience
• Clear progression pathway linked to succession planning
• Potential for equity in the medium termFlexible working arrangements
• A supportive, design‑driven environment where your work has visible impact

If you’re an Architect who wants to create meaningful, well‑crafted housing, and you’re excited by the idea of growing into a future leadership role then we’d love to hear from you.
