We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Technician to support our client accounting and compliance services. You will work closely with our senior accountants to deliver high-quality bookkeeping, accounts preparation, and tax compliance services.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare bookkeeping records using accounting software.
Assist with management accounts and year-end financial statements.
Support VAT returns and HMRC submissions.
Process payroll and related reporting.
Assist with personal and corporation tax computations.
Maintain accurate client records and compliance documentation.
Communicate with clients to gather financial information and resolve queries.
Requirements
AAT qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent accounting qualification).
Previous experience in an accountancy practice.
Knowledge of accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage).
Strong attention to detail and good numerical ability.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and work within a team.
Bonus Skills
Payroll experience.
Multilingual skills (a plus in our diverse client base).
Experience with HMRC portals and compliance filings.
