I am happy to say I have picked up a new role from a new client on the outskirts of Southampton

Salary 26K OTE 35k

He has had 6 direct applications and is shortlisting for interview late next week. Would be interested in seeing what we could offer against direct candidates. Ideally wants candidates based close to where they are. Their site is between Southampton, Winchester and Salisbury. He did say these locations are fine but Portsmouth is too far.

Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Telesales Representative to contribute to generating sales for our company. You will be responsible for maximising the effectiveness of our corporate client accounts, as well as generating new business. You will be working as a team to produce high-quality leads and working towards agreed-set targets and KPIs. You will provide a high level of sales support by ensuring all queries are responded to in an efficient, professional, and timely manner.

An effective telesales representative must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills. They must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as dealing with complaints and doubts.

The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in customers and developing business.

Responsibilities:

1. Identify opportunities, produce leads, and book appointments for the sales force with an emphasis on high-quality leads, cold & warm.
2. Professionally answer the telephone, taking and screening incoming calls as required.
3. Develop creative pitches and propositions aimed at specific industry sectors.
4. Proactively follow up on leads generated from calling.
5. Use of own initiative to identify and follow up opportunities with companies who are not already on the database.
6. Manage the database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place to generate new business for the business.
7. Work closely with the marketing team to achieve sales objectives.
8. Contribute to the team’s performance by sharing and implementing best practice ideas.
9. Identify resources needed and discuss them with line managers.

Requirements and skills:

1. Experience as a telesales representative would be ideal, but not essential.
2. Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software) and telephone systems
3. Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
4. Excellent knowledge of English
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
7. Driving licence and own transport are essential.

Must have Full Driving License and own transport, as Public Transport is not available at the location.

Job Details:

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Starting at £26,000 per annum, with a realistic £30,000 - £35,000 OTE. Uncapped commissions.

Additional benefits include: Commission pay, Company pension, On-site parking.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Own vehicle for travel to work required
