Corporate Solicitor

A well-respected Legal 500 law firm in Essex is seeking to strengthen its Corporate practice with the appointment of an ambitious and commercially minded Corporate Solicitor (2+ PQE) .

You will be joining a firm recognised for its growth, modern outlook and strong reputation across multiple practice areas, working within a supportive team that values collaboration, respect and professional development.

The Role

As a Corporate Solicitor, you will act for a broad and varied client base including global brands, FTSE 100 companies, privately owned businesses, entrepreneurs, and investors . The team provides strategic and practical advice on a wide range of corporate transactions and projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Advising on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and corporate restructures
• Drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements, joint ventures and corporate governance documentation
• Advising on employee ownership trusts, equity capital markets and venture/development capital projects
• Managing transactions from instruction through to completion with appropriate supervision
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, delivering advice that is clear, commercial and timely

The Ideal Candidate

2+ years’ PQE

Excellent technical knowledge of company and commercial law

Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills

Commercially aware with a client-focused approach

Ambitious, proactive and keen to develop within a Legal 500 practice

Ongoing training with clear progression opportunities
