Assembly operatives - Day oe evening shift available

Location: Lurgan
Contract: Temporary ongoing

Pay:

• £13.33 per hour, rising to £14.45 per hour after fully trained

Shift Pattern

• Day Shift
  Monday to Thursday 6.00am-2.00pm Friday finish at 1pm

OR

• Evening Shift

Monday to Thursday 2.00pm -10.00pm Friday 1pm finish 8pm

About the Role

The role involves supporting daily loading and unloading operations, ensuring products are dispatched accurately and safely, assisting with stock control, and contributing to the smooth running of the logistics function.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up machinery for operation
• Start machinery and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance
• Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions
• Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance
• Perform quality control, follow reporting and record-keeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor
• Comply with all safety and health regulations
• Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area
• General welding and unloading/ unloading lorries

Essential Criteria

• Previous experience in a steel manufacturing environment
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Operate a crane
• General welding following successful training
