We are working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Lisburn to recruit a Legal Secretary / Legal Administrator to join its busy team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who is looking to develop their career within the legal sector. Previous legal experience is welcomed but is not essential - candidates with strong administration, organisation and communication skills are encouraged to apply.

The firm has an established presence in Lisburn and provides a broad range of legal services, including property, family, wills and estates and litigation.

The Role

Working as part of the team, you will provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to ensure the smooth running of the office and day-to-day management of client matters.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and formatting correspondence and legal documents
• Managing files, records and general office administration
• Handling incoming calls and correspondence
• Liaising with clients and other professional contacts
• Scheduling appointments and maintaining diaries
• Assisting with document preparation and filing
• Updating case management systems and maintaining accurate records
• Providing general administrative support to solicitors and the wider team

You will receive support and training to develop your understanding of the legal environment and the firm's processes.

About You

We are keen to hear from candidates with strong administrative or secretarial experience , whether that has been gained within a legal, professional services or other office environment.

You will ideally have:

• Previous administration or secretarial experience
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• A professional and approachable manner
• A willingness to learn and develop

Previous legal secretarial or legal administration experience would be highly advantageous, but is not essential.
