Residential Support Workers

Two Children's Residential Support Workers required to work within Ardmore Children's Home in Downpatrick for full time hours working on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday. The successful applicants will work a variety of shifts including waking nights from 10.00pm-8.15am, early shifts from 8.00am-3.30pm, and late shifts from 3.00pm-10.30pm. Depending on service requirements, staff may also be required to work a combination of long days, waking nights and sleep-in shifts. Pay rate ranges from £12.75-£25.41 per hour depending on the shift.

The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support, promoting independence and wellbeing, assisting with daily living activities, following individual care and behaviour support plans, maintaining accurate records and working closely with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for the young people they support. This role will be for 3 months with possible extension and immediate start available.

What We Need From You:

• Previous experience supporting children with learning disabilities
• To be NISCC registered, or willing to apply
• To attend all mandatory training courses
• Undergo an Access NI check
