Location: Banbridge, County Down
Pay: £13.00 per hour

Were currently recruiting a Care Assistant for an established nursing care facility in Banbridge. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering compassionate care and wants to join a team that supports learning, development and long-term career progression.

About the role

Youll play an important part in ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centred care throughout the night. Working alongside an experienced team, youll help create a calm, safe and comfortable environment where residents feel respected and supported.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting residents with personal care and individual needs.
• Supporting bedtime routines and overnight comfort.
• Promoting dignity, choice and independence.
• Monitoring residents wellbeing and reporting any concerns.
• Following care plans, policies and procedures.
• Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with colleagues.

About you

Were looking for someone who is:

• Compassionate, reliable and approachable.
• Respectful of residents individual needs and preferences.
• A good communicator who works well as part of a team.
• Interested in developing their skills within a nursing care setting.
• Experienced in care, ideally within a care home environment, although a positive attitude and willingness to learn are important.
• Registered with NISCC or willing to complete registration within the required timeframe.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
