Artemis Human Capital are working with an established organisation based in Armagh is seeking a Company Accountant to take ownership of the finance function. This is a key role, working closely with senior management to provide accurate financial reporting, commercial insight and strong financial control.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate and compliant financial operations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and financial reports.
• Manage cashflow, working capital, VAT, payroll and statutory reporting requirements.
• Oversee year-end accounts, audit preparation, tax compliance and R&D reporting.
• Maintain strong financial controls, stock accuracy and reporting processes.
• Provide commercial financial insight to senior management and support business planning and growth.

The Person

• Qualified accountant.
• Strong knowledge of management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, VAT and financial controls.
• Commercially minded with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organised, accurate and confident working to deadlines.
• Strong communicator with the ability to work effectively with senior management and non-finance teams.
• Proactive leader with a focus on continuous improvement and developing the finance function.
• Knowledge of GB, NI and ROI trade, including TSS and second-hand margin schemes, would be advantageous.
