An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and reliable Fitter to join a busy manufacturing environment. This hands-on role will involve assembling, fitting, and testing industrial equipment to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a production team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and fit components and equipment to engineering specifications

Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation

Carry out mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic installations

Ensure all assemblies meet required quality and safety standards

Troubleshoot and resolve assembly and fitting issues efficiently

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices

Requirements

Previous experience in a mechanical fitting, assembly, or manufacturing role

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills

Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Proactive attitude with strong attention to detail

Commitment to health and safety standards within a manufacturing environment
