An organisation in Northern Ireland is embarking on a £500 million, three-year investment programme to build and scale one of the most advanced data centre and digital infrastructure environments in the region.

As part of this growth, we're seeking an experienced Data Centre Manager to lead operations, infrastructure strategy, resilience and future capacity planning across a critical, high-availability environment.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a large-scale infrastructure estate at a pivotal point in its evolution. The programme includes substantial investment in modern data centre capabilities, AI-ready infrastructure, next-generation networking and future high-performance computing initiatives.

Previous AI experience is very beneficial. We're looking for proven leaders who understand how to build, operate and scale mission-critical infrastructure environments.

The Role

As Data Centre Manager, you will:

• Lead day-to-day operations of a mission-critical data centre environment
• Drive operational excellence, uptime and resilience
• Oversee infrastructure, networking, capacity and service availability
• Support major infrastructure refresh and expansion projects
• Manage suppliers, vendors and technical delivery partners
• Develop infrastructure roadmaps aligned to the wider investment programme
• Ensure best practice across governance, risk, security and change management
• Work alongside specialist technology partners supporting AI and advanced computing initiatives
• Build and lead high-performing technical teams
