Role: Maintenance Fitter

Location: Carrickfergus

Hours: 38 hours, dayshift during training; rotating shifts thereafter
Pay: £16.97 per hour / £33,532.72 per annum, excluding shift premium

A businessthat manufactures automotive components, particularly aluminium die-cast parts, for the automotive industry. They are now looking a Maintenance Fitter.

Shift Premiums

• 22% shift premium for 8-hour rotating shifts
• 36% shift premium for 24/6 or 24/7 rotating 12-hour shifts
• Initial dayshift training, generally 612 months depending on progress

The Role :

You would maintain , repair and prepare dies used in the manufacturing process. The role involves finding and fixing faults, carrying out regular maintenance, and making sure equipment is safe, reliable and ready for production.

The Requirements:

1. Time-served mechanical maintenance background NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
2. Welding Experience
