With a well-established reputation for engineering excellence and operational performance, the company offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Finance Manager seeking a highly visible role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the FC, the Finance Manager will play a key leadership role within the finance function, overseeing the preparation of management accounts, driving financial performance reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

Preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts within tight reporting deadlines
Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and monthly P&L review against budget
Maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring key financial ratios are achieved
Liaising with external auditors, banks and financial institutions
Leading and developing a finance team, providing coaching, training and performance support
Developing and enhancing business scorecards and KPI reporting
Working closely with operational stakeholders to analyse gross margin and performance variances
Supporting business improvement initiatives and finance transformation projects
Assisting with ERP implementation and ongoing process improvements
Producing detailed financial modelling and commercial analysis to support business decisions
Supporting the CFO with ad-hoc financial and strategic projects

What you'll need to succeed
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualificationMinimum 3 years' post-qualified experience within a manufacturing environment
Strong experience preparing management accounts and financial reporting
Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills
Experience managing or mentoring finance staff
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to influence business decisions
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet demanding deadlines
Experience supporting ERP implementation projects would be highly advantageous
Previous exposure to international or group reporting environments would be beneficial
