About you
A third level qualification in Accounts (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent
Previous experience working within cost accountancy in a manufacturing environment
Strong proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and account systems; Oracle experience is desirable
Knowledge of internal controls, audit processes, and UK/US GAAP
Results-driven, energetic, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Flexible, with a willingness to cross-train within a dynamic finance team
What you'll do
Maintain and cost machinery, materials, labour, and overheads, setting annual standards
Review machine margins and manage inventories, including cycle counts and variance analysis
Monitor raw material prices and control factory overheads and efficiency metrics
Support budgeting and forecasting processes; identify and implement cost reduction opportunities
Prepare month-end financial reports in a timely manner to meet reporting deadlines
Assist in internal and external audits, and support internal control reviews
Contribute to ongoing improvements in business intelligence and management reporting
Provide KPI data and support financial management activities across departments
