Materials Controller – Bordon, Hampshire Location: Bordon, Hampshire Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm Rate: Negotiable Start Date: ASAP Contract: Temporary / Agency Duration: Up to 10 years of work available We are currently looking for a reliable Materials Controller to join a construction site in Bordon, Hampshire.

This is a straightforward, hands-on role suited to someone with a strong knowledge of construction materials and previous site experience.
The position would suit someone looking for a steady, relatively laid-back role without the pressures of managing a site day to day.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Managing and coordinating all material deliveries arriving on site.
Liaising with delivery drivers and directing them to the correct unloading areas.
Checking incoming deliveries against delivery notes, orders and material specifications.
Inspecting materials for quality, quantity, damage and any missing items.
Reporting damaged, incorrect or missing materials to the relevant site team.
Ensuring materials are unloaded, stored and organised safely in designated areas.
Keeping accurate records of deliveries and maintaining delivery documentation.
Communicating with site management, suppliers and subcontractors regarding material requirements.
Monitoring incoming materials and helping ensure the correct items are available when needed.
Maintaining a tidy and organised materials storage area.
Following site health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements CSCS / PPE Strong knowledge of construction materials is essential Good communication and organisational skills. xwwtmva
