- Warrington TRAMPING ALSO AVAILABLE IF REQUESTED People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Warrington, Cheshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, guaranteed minimum shift pay, and ongoing work with a leading logistics business.
This would suit applicants who have worked as an LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver.
Rates of Pay: £220.00 per shift Night shift based on a 10-hour shift Weekly pay If tramping, £25 night out payment paid per night Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday PM start times between 17:00 and 21:00 Benefits: Your benefits as an HGV Class 1 Driver are: Ongoing work with a leading logistics company Guaranteed minimum shift pay Weekly pay Comprehensive training programme Opportunity to work for an established and reputable business Supportive transport team Long-term work opportunities Day-to-Day Duties: Your duties as an HGV Class 1 Driver are: Driving Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently Completing trunking, drop and swap duties Operating curtain-sided vehicles Securing loads using straps where required Taking photographs to document successful deliveries Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations Reporting customer concerns promptly to management Completing vehicle checks before and after shifts Reporting defects and maintenance issues as required Ensuring compliance with driver hours and road transport regulations Essential Skills: To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need: A minimum of three months' HGV Class 1 driving experience A valid UK Category CE Driving Licence A valid Driver CPC Card A valid Digital Tachograph Card No more than six penalty points for minor offences xwwtmva No major endorsements, including DR10, DG10, IN10 or TT99 Strong customer service and communication skills Good spoken and written English Excellent timekeeping and reliability Training: First-day assessment Industry-related training provided Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment Apply: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
