- Guildford People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Guildford .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, weekly pay, and immediate starts with a well-respected logistics operation.
This would suit applicants who have worked as a 7.5 Tonne Driver, Category C1 Driver, or Lorry Driver.
Rates of Pay: £16.00 per hour basic £20.00 per hour overtime after 9 hours worked Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00 start times Benefits: Your benefits as a 7.5 Tonne Driver are: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay Immediate starts available Employee wellbeing programme Ongoing support throughout your assignment Day-to-Day Duties: Your duties as a 7.5 Tonne Driver are: Completing RDC, brewery or parcel deliveries Operating and driving 7.5 Tonne vehicles safely and efficiently Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured correctly Adhering to traffic laws and regulations at all times Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly Assisting with loading and unloading when required Completing between 10 and 15 drops per day with the support of a driver's mate Completing delivery paperwork accurately Essential Skills: To be successful as a 7.5 Tonne Driver , you will need: A valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence A minimum of 12 months' experience driving C1 vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no major endorsement codes A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card A valid Digital Tachograph Card A good standard of spoken and written English Excellent xwwtmva punctuality and timekeeping skills A good understanding of road traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills A professional and customer-focused approach Training: Industry-related training provided Ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a 7.5 Tonne Driver , apply today by submitting your CV or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
