Shuttering Carpenter

We're looking for an experienced Shuttering Carpenter to join a project in Portsmouth, with approximately 2 weeks' worth of work available and attractive rates for the right candidate.
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
Duties & Responsibilities Constructing, installing and dismantling timber and plywood formwork.
Setting out and preparing shuttering for concrete slabs and other structural elements.
Reading and working from construction drawings and specifications.
Measuring, cutting and assembling materials accurately.
Ensuring formwork is level, plumb, secure and correctly positioned prior to concrete pours.
Assisting with concrete preparation and ensuring shuttering is suitable for the required pour.
Checking dimensions and levels to ensure work is completed to specification.
Working safely and efficiently alongside other trades and site personnel.
Maintaining a clean and safe working area.
Following site health & safety procedures and wearing the required PPE.
Carrying out any other general carpentry/formwork duties required on site.
Requirements Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter.
Strong previous experience working on concrete slabs is essential.
Good understanding of formwork and shuttering techniques.
Ability to read drawings and follow specifications. xwwtmva
CSCS card required.
Own tools and PPE.
