We're looking for an experienced Leading Hand to join our warehouse operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with warehouse leadership experience who thrives in a busy distribution environment and enjoys motivating teams to deliver outstanding results.

As a key member of the operations team, you'll support the day-to-day running of the picking operation, ensuring customer orders are picked accurately, safely, and on time whilst maintaining productivity and service standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading and motivating a team of warehouse operatives.
• Allocating resources and coordinating workloads effectively.
• Driving productivity, accuracy, and service level performance.
• Supporting daily warehouse operations and shift objectives.
• Coaching and developing team members.
• Conducting shift briefings and handovers.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures.
• Maintaining warehouse housekeeping standards.
• Supporting stock investigations and cycle counts.
• Providing supervisor cover when required.

What We're Looking For

Essential

? Experience within a warehouse or distribution environment

? Previous team leader, leading hand, or supervisory experience

? Strong communication and organisational skills

? Ability to motivate and develop others

? Understanding of warehouse Health & Safety requirements

? Experience coordinating workloads and managing priorities

? A hands-on approach and willingness to support operational requirements across the warehouse

Desirable

? Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

? Distribution or logistics sector experience
