HGV Class 2 Days

• £15.11 per hour PAYE
• £16.93 per hour rolled up

HGV Class 2 Twilights

• £16.02 per hour PAYE
• £17.95 per hour rolled up

HGV Class 2 Nights

• £17.23 per hour PAYE
• £19.31 per hour rolled up

HGV Class 1 Days

• £17.77 per hour PAYE
• £19.91 per hour rolled up

HGV Class 1 Twilights

• £18.09 per hour PAYE
• £20.27 per hour rolled up

HGV Class 1 Nights

• £19.13 per hour PAYE
• £21.44 per hour rolled up

Shift Patterns

Days – Class 1 & Class 2

• Sunday to Saturday
• Typically 07:00–10:00 starts

Twilights – Class 1 & Class 2

• Sunday to Saturday
• Typically 14:00–16:00 starts

Nights – Class 1 & Class 2

• Sunday to Friday
• Sundays and Fridays are required
• Typically 20:00–03:00 starts

Please note: drivers must be available to work weekends as part of their agreed availability.

The Role

As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of palletised parcels between delivery units and couriers.

Your duties will include:

• Safely transporting palletised parcels
• Collecting and delivering goods between sites
• Loading and unloading the vehicle
• Completing accurate delivery paperwork where required
• Working safely and efficiently at all times
• Representing the company professionally when dealing with customers and delivery teams
• Following all relevant driving, working time and health & safety requirements

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with the relevant Class 1 / Category C+E or Class 2 / Category C entitlement
• Valid DCPC/CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience on the relevant vehicle required
• No more than 6 points on your licence (minor offences only)
• Good understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD) legislation
• Willingness to complete a short driving assessment
• Excellent communication skills
• A professional and safety-conscious approach to driving
