Bench Joiner

We are working with a reputable client based in Derbyshire who require a professional Bench Joiner to join their team.

The position is a permanent role paying £16.50 to £18.00 per hour (DOE).
Working Hours: Monday - Friday - Day Shift (overtime also available)
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing bespoke joinery items
Laminating & bonding unitary using contact adhesives
Edging, veneering, and preparing surfaces for finishing
Ensuring all work is produced to a high standard of quality and within project deadlines
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
Skills & Experience
Competent Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker
Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings
Experience working with MDF, plywood, laminates and veneers
High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
Desirable xwwtmva (but not essential)
Experience in spraying & topcoats
Experience working with Corian / Krion / HI-MACS etc..
Heat forming solid surfaces
Knowledgeable in upholstery
Forklift licence
