We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a thriving and ambitious secondary school community from January 2026 near Oxted. What You'll Be Doing
As an English Teacher, you will:
Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4
Deliver engaging, challenging lessons that inspire a love of language and literature
Use assessment to inform teaching and provide targeted support for all learners
Contribute to the ongoing development of an innovative, evidence-informed English curriculum
Get involved in wider school life, including enrichment, clubs, and collaborative planning
About You
We're looking for a teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status and demonstrates strong subject knowledge
Is passionate about English and committed to delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
Has excellent classroom management and a reflective approach to teaching
Values collaboration and is eager to contribute to a positive school culture
