The Role – Maths Graduate / Maths Teaching AssistantThe successful Maths Graduate / Maths Teaching Assistant will support the Maths department across KS3 and KS4.
The Maths Graduate / Maths Teaching Assistant will: Support Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Provide 1:1 and small-group Maths intervention .
Support students with GCSE Maths content.
Help students understand challenging mathematical concepts.
Assist teachers during lessons.
Support students with revision, homework and independent work.
Help identify gaps in students' Maths knowledge.
Build valuable classroom experience before teacher training.
Who We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a Maths Graduate / Maths Teaching Assistant who has: A Maths-related degree with a 1st Class or 2:1 classification – essential .
Strong academic results.
Excellent Maths subject knowledge.
Strong GCSE and A-Level grades.
An interest in pursuing a career in teaching.
Good communication skills and confidence working with students.
A reliable and professional approach.
Previous tutoring or mentoring experience – desirable.
