EMPLOYMENT SOLICITOR – Newly Qualified to 5 years' PQE Leeds Based & Hybrid Salary: £40,000–£50,000 DOE CLD Recruitment are currently working with a growing law firm who are looking to strengthen their Employment Department with the appointment of an Employment Solicitor at NQ–5 PQE level.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Employment Solicitor looking to join a supportive and collaborative team, take ownership of their own caseload and develop their career within a growing Employment practice.
THE ROLE You will manage a caseload of predominantly claimant Employment Tribunal matters, dealing with cases from initial instruction through to conclusion.
Your responsibilities will include: Managing your own caseload of Employment Tribunal matters Taking initial instructions from clients and providing clear, practical legal advice Advising clients throughout the life of their matter Drafting pleadings and other legal documentation Representing clients at Employment Tribunal Preliminary Hearings Instructing Counsel and other experts where appropriate Advising on employment contracts and service agreements Advising clients on settlement agreements Ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and in accordance with office and accounts procedures Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Employment law and developments ABOUT YOU We are keen to speak with Employment Solicitors who have: NQ–5 years PQE Previous Employment law experience Experience of claimant Employment Tribunal matters Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent drafting and advocacy abilities The ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and practically to clients Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities A high level of accuracy and attention to detail The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team Excellent client care skills THE OPPORTUNITY This is a great opportunity for an Employment Solicitor who wants genuine responsibility and the chance to play an important role in the continued growth of an established Employment Department.
