We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our client in Braintree on an ongoing temporary basis, offering consistent work, competitive pay, and a supportive working environment.

· Competitive pay of £21.45per hour
·Monday to Friday working pattern for long weekends every week
· Minimum of 7.5 hours paid per shift excluding Friday's which is 7 hours

About the Role
As a HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver , you will play an important role in keeping local communities clean by safely collecting household waste and recycling across the Braintree area.
· Drive a refuse collection vehicle on planned local routes
· Lead and work alongside a team of loaders throughout the shift
· Collect household, recycling, and garden waste from residential properties
· Empty waste at authorised disposal facilities
· Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections and complete required paperwork
· Assist the loading team when operationally required
About You
We're looking for a reliable and safety-conscious driver with the right experience and a strong work ethic.
· Hold a valid Category C (Class 2) HGV licence
· Have a minimum of 2 years' HGV Class 2 driving experience
· Previous rear steer and dustcart/refuse vehicle experience is essential
· Hold a valid Driver CPC qualification
· Be physically fit and happy to assist with loading duties xwwtmva when required
· Demonstrate excellent awareness of road safety and teamwork
