Hamilton Wood Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of a public sector organisation for a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader on a permanent basis

The main aim of the role will be to lead a team of four Gardeners, as well as support with the delivery of subcontractor services

The hours of work consist of Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm.

Responsibilities of the Grounds Maintenance Team Leader:

• Leading and supervising a small gardening team.
• Undertaking gardening and grounds maintenance activities as required.
• Completing estate and site inspections.
• Monitoring the quality and performance of grounds maintenance activities.
• Engaging with resident and providing a visible presence across estates.
• Monitoring contracted services and working collaboratively with contractors
• Promoting safe systems of work and maintain high standards of health and safety.

Requirements of the Grounds Maintenance Team Leader include:

• UK Driving License
• Practical grounds maintenance experience
• Team leadership capability
• Experience xwwtmva monitoring service standards within a similar environment
