About the role
An opportunity is available for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join a busy transport operation in Leeds. This is a temporary position working day shifts, with the possibility of permanent employment for suitable candidates.
Key responsibilities
• Driving HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and responsibly
• Completing planned deliveries and collections
• Handling refrigerated and temperature-controlled loads
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Completing delivery paperwork and using required transport systems
• Following site, road safety and customer procedures
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism during deliveries
Skills and qualifications
• Valid HGV Class 1 entitlement
• Previous experience in fridge work or temperature-controlled transport
• Good knowledge of driving and vehicle safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach xwwtmva
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Commitment to safe working practices
