About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for the role of Branch Manager, based within our Beers Plumbing & Heating depot in Rathbone Road, Wavertree, Liverpool 13.

With excellent Plumbing and Heating knowledge, you will have experience in a similar role with a background as a Branch Manager, Assistant Manager / Senior Supervisor.

You will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of Plumbing and Heating products, have good communication skills, success in sales growth, account management & customer development as well as being ambitious, driven & having a customer-focused mindset. We would be looking for an individual to have strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on approach within a busy trade environment.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Day to day management of the Store
• Account management, meeting targets and generating sales growth
• Drive revenue, margin & branch profitability
• Sales to Trade & Retail
• Manage key customer accounts and grow spend
• Stock control
• Ensure high operational, compliance and Health & Safety standards
• Cash Handling
• Managing Stock purchasing, storage & annual stock takes. xwwtmva

Required Experience

• Experience in Plumbers Merchants / Builders Merchants
• Previous experience as a Branch Manager, Assistant Manager / Senior Supervisor
• Good Knowledge of Plumbing, Heating, Bathroom Products
• Good knowledge of local customers
• Excellent Customer service skills
• Commercial awareness (sales, margin, costs & performance KPI's)
• Self-motivation and positive attitude towards work with the ability to self-supervise
• Ambitious, driven & customer focused
• Full Driving Licence

Hours of work:

7.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday - 7.30am to 4.30pm Friday.
