A temporary opportunity is available for an HGV Class 1 Driver to complete retail store deliveries from a distribution operation in Solihull. This is a day-shift role offering reliable weekly pay and a minimum of eight hours paid.

Key responsibilities
• Drive an HGV Class 1 vehicle safely and responsibly
• Complete scheduled deliveries to retail stores
• Carry out vehicle and load safety checks
• Load, secure and transport goods in line with legal and company requirements
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately
• Communicate professionally with store teams and the transport operation
• Follow road safety, site safety and delivery procedures at all times
Skills and qualifications
• Valid HGV Class 1 licence, also known as Category C+E
• Current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• Experience completing retail store deliveries
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and road safety requirements
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach
• Professional communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
