HGV Mechanic

Pay: £21.00 – £26.00 per hour, depending on experience
Shifts: Various shifts available
Job Type: Permanent
We are currently looking for experienced HGV Technicians / HGV Mechanics to join a busy workshop team. This is a workshop-based role carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and fault finding on a range of commercial vehicles.
Available Shifts:
08:00 – 18:00
18:00 – 04:00
10:00 – 20:00
The Role:
Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
Complete inspections and safety checks
Carry out repairs to brakes, suspension, steering and other vehicle systems
Fault finding using diagnostic equipment where required
Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Maintain accurate service and repair records xwwtmva
Requirements:
Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or similar
Experience working on commercial vehicles
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant HGV / LGV qualifications are desirable
