TSR Legal are delighted to be supporting a highly regarded Legal 500 law firm in Bath with the recruitment of a Residential Property Assistant to join an established and successful property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary or Conveyancing Assistant looking to join a well-respected firm and work closely with a Partner and Head of Residential Property.

The successful candidate will provide key administrative and legal support across a busy residential property caseload, assisting with the smooth progression of transactions and ensuring clients receive a professional and responsive service.

The Role

Working closely with a senior member of the Residential Property team, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing day-to-day legal and administrative support across residential property matters
• Assisting with the progression of property transactions from instruction through to completion
• Opening and maintaining files and ensuring records are kept accurately and up to date
• Preparing correspondence and documentation
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, agents, lenders and other third parties
• Assisting with searches, enquiries and other conveyancing documentation
• Diary management and arranging appointments
• Monitoring key dates and transaction deadlines
• Supporting with post-completion administration where required
• Providing a high level of client care throughout the transaction
• General administrative support to the Partner and wider Residential Property team

About You

We are keen to speak with candidates who have previous experience within a residential property or conveyancing environment.

You may currently be working as a:

Residential Property Assistant | Conveyancing Assistant | Legal Assistant | Legal Secretary | Property Administrator

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience within residential property or conveyancing
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Confident communication skills and a professional approach to clients
• Good IT skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
• A proactive and positive approach to supporting a busy fee earner
• A genuine interest in developing a career within residential property

Experience supporting a Partner or senior fee earner would be advantageous, although applications will be considered from candidates with strong residential property administration experience.
