Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Bristol | Rate: £350 – £500 per day

A well-established main contractor is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of a project or major project section in the Bristol area. You'll protect the commercial position on site, working closely with the delivery team and reporting to a Project Manager or Commercial Manager.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading procurement, subcontract administration and payment/valuation processes
• Managing cost control, CVR reporting and forecasting
• Identifying and managing risks, opportunities and contractual change
• Overseeing final accounts, variations and dispute resolution
• Supporting and developing junior commercial team members
• Liaising directly with clients and PQS to keep projects on track commercially

What we're looking for:

• Strong track record in a Senior QS role within main contracting
• Solid grasp of contractual, commercial, insurance and legal processes
• Confident managing procurement, subcontracts and final accounts end-to-end
• A proactive, numbers-driven approach with strong stakeholder relationships
• Ability to lead and develop others within a commercial team
