Receptionist

Location: Beaminster
Salary: to £28k pa
Hours: 9am-5.30pm Mon-Thurs, 9am-5pm Fri
Benefits: 25 days hols + Bank hols (including 3 for Christmas shutdown), birthday off, no onsite parking but provide car parking permit for local car park, pension, medical insurance after probation, social events during the year
Aspire Jobs is delighted to work with our professional services client in West Dorset to recruit an experienced receptionist. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a busy reception desk with a growing, forward-thinking business, where full training will be provided.
As a receptionist you will be confident and comfortable working on a busy front office desk, dealing with customers face to face anf managing a high volume of calls. You will be comfortable juggling varying demands from the outset. You should have strong customer facing experience with the confidence and ability to cope comfortably with a busy reception environment.
The successful Receptionist will: –

• Be personable and professional.
• Be well-presented.
• Have exceptional communication skills, both face to face and over the phone.
• Be proficient with IT.
• Be a conscientious and dependable member of the team.
• Be calm and able to work well in a fast-paced working environment.
• Have first class customer service skills.
• Reception experience would be beneficial but not essential but you should have strong office administration experience

Responsibilities of the Receptionist: –

• Be the welcoming face of the business.
• Meet and greet clients in a professional manner.
• Deal with clients both face-to-face and over the telephone.
• Answer incoming calls and direct calls to the appropriate person.
• Take accurate messages when required.
• Manage incoming and outgoing post.
• Provide support in other areas of the business as required
