Lytham St. Annes, Lancashire
Are you looking to join a prestigious Health & Social-care agency?
Overview
Are you looking to join a prestigious Health & Social-care agency? Carepath Recruitment is looking for calm, patient and hardworking individuals with a friendly disposition to join our care team. Experience is preferred but not essential; your ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard in a positive behavioural support setting is the primary factor.
Responsibilities
You will be expected to provide care at a high standard to help residents and be there for them. You will work within a positive behaviour support framework, follow agreed guidelines and work within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.
You will have the opportunity to undertake the responsible role of being a Support Worker/Care Assistant. This will enable you to plan alongside members of the person's circle of support to enable individuals to be happy, healthy and to be successful in achieving their wishes and aspirations. Our person-centred planning meetings and processes are co-produced with the people we support and their families to promote a unified approach. Together we set meaningful and inspirational goals, which Support Workers have a particular responsibility to work towards. This will provide you with a great experience to develop skills which can underpin a successful career in adult social care.
Qualifications and Training
Previous experience and any relevant qualifications in care are preferred but not essential. Full training including online e-learning is available through our preferred training academy.
Remuneration and Availability
We ask that you are flexible and able to cover a mixture of days, nights, sleep-in shifts and waking watches. The care we provide is 24 hours 7 days a week so we require flexibility in being able to cover a mixture both during the week and weekends. However, we will always try to find you work according to your availability.
We offer competitive hourly rates, annual leave entitlement, ongoing training, scope for permanent opportunities with some temp roles after a qualifying period.
