Up to £80,000 DOE Brand-New Independent Clinic 4-Day Week No OOH

Global Veterinary Careers is delighted to be working with an independent veterinary clinic to recruit Veterinary Surgeons for the opening of their brand-new Crowborough practice this September.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new team from day one while enjoying the support, stability and benefits of a well-established independent veterinary group with 14 practices across the South East.

About the Group

For over 17 years, this independent veterinary group has been offering a refreshing alternative to corporate veterinary practice.

Family owned and proudly independent, every investment is made with patients and staff in mind. Rather than prioritising shareholder profits, the group continually reinvests in its people, facilities and equipment, offering industry-leading salaries, generous holiday allowances and regular practice refurbishments.

As the group celebrates the opening of its 14th practice, now is the perfect time to become part of its continued growth.

The Practice

The new Crowborough surgery has been purpose-built to provide an exceptional working environment and will feature:

• Digital radiography
• Ultrasonography
• IDEXX in-house integrated laboratory
• Dedicated operating theatre
• Facilities for visiting specialist surgeons
• Located alongside a busy pet retailer and grooming salon, generating excellent client footfall from an already established customer base

The Role

The clinic is seeking enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeons with at least two years' small animal experience who enjoy building client relationships and delivering excellent clinical care.

Initially, the rota will include periods of sole charge, but you'll be supported by:

• The practice owner
• Visiting specialist surgeons
• An experienced on-site nursing team
• A wider network of 30 veterinary surgeons and more than 80 colleagues across the group

While you'll have the autonomy to manage your own caseload, you'll always have access to clinical support and collaboration whenever you need it.

What's on Offer

• Salary up to £80,000, depending on experience and hours
• Full-time 4-day week
• 1 in 2 Saturdays
• Part-time applications considered
• No out-of-hours
• No Sundays
• No Bank Holidays
• Up to 6 weeks' annual leave
• Generous CPD allowance with encouragement to pursue professional development
• RCVS and VDS fees paid
• Loyalty bonus scheme
• Staff pets treated at cost
• Employee discount with the neighbouring pet retailer

Why Join?

This is a fantastic opportunity to help establish a brand-new independent clinic while benefiting from the backing of a successful, family-owned veterinary group. You'll enjoy genuine clinical freedom, an excellent work-life balance, modern facilities and the chance to make a real impact from the very beginning.
