If you have experience in solutions sales or account management or Customer success and want more responsibility, stronger earning potential and your own portfolio of customers, this could be your next move.

This established ERP consultancy is a Sage Business Partner with customers across the UK. You will manage existing clients using Sage 200, Sage 50 and cim50 and Sage Intacct, building relationships and identifying additional software and services that will help their businesses.

This role gives you the chance to get close to your customers, understand how they work and spot opportunities to make a difference.

They might need better reporting, more automation, CRM software or additional functionality. Your job is to understand the problem, work with product specialists on the solution and turn that opportunity into a sale.

You will:

• Build relationships with an existing portfolio of customers.
• Visit clients at least twice a week to understand their businesses and plans.
• Identify and close cross-selling opportunities for software and services.
• Work with sales consultants, marketing professionals and product specialists.
• Maintain an accurate customer database and an active sales pipeline.
• Work towards a realistic margin target, with uncapped commission rewarding your results.

What you will bring

You will already have experience in solutions sales or account management, with evidence of winning business, growing customer revenue and exceeding targets.

Experience with ERP or accounting software would be an advantage. Sage 50 or Cim50 experience would be particularly interesting, making this an opportunity to build on that knowledge and move into Sage 200 and Sage Intacct account management.

You will also need confidence presenting to customers, clear communication skills and the initiative to follow opportunities through.

Flexibility and earning potential

The role is essentially home based, with one or two days per month in the Derby office.

Alongside a £30,000-£40,000 basic salary, realistic commission is £20,000-£40,000, with no cap on what you can earn.

You will report to the Sales Director and join a team focused on helping existing customers get more value from their software while growing the business.
