Job Description

MPA Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced and professional Receptionist to join a busy legal practice in Ballymena Town Centre.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing a welcoming, professional and efficient front of house service. Previous experience working within a legal office or solicitors' practice is essential.

What You Will Be Doing

Greeting clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
Answering incoming calls and managing telephone enquiries
Handling incoming and outgoing post and emails
Scheduling appointments and managing solicitors' calendars
Preparing and typing professional documents
Completing audio typing and transcribing legal correspondence
Maintaining accurate and confidential records
Providing general administrative support to the legal team
Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times

What We Are Looking For

Previous experience working in a legal office or solicitors' practice
Audio typing and minute taking skills or willingness to learn
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A professional and confident telephone manner
Strong organisational and time management skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Confidence using Microsoft Office and legal software systems
The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks effectively
A professional, discreet and client focused approach
