The ENT Consultant will diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions, perform specialized procedures, and contribute to high-quality, patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and treat conditions related to the ear, nose, throat, head, and neckPerform outpatient and inpatient ENT consultationsConduct medical and surgical procedures, including emergency ENT interventionsManage chronic ENT conditions such as sinusitis, hearing loss, voice disorders, and sleep apneaEvaluate and interpret diagnostic tests including audiometry, endoscopy, and imagingProvide pre-operative and post-operative patient careSupervise junior doctors, residents, and allied healthcare staff as requiredParticipate in on-call duties and emergency servicesMaintain accurate and timely medical recordsAdhere to hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and patient safety standardsEngage in continuous professional development and clinical audits Qualifications and RequirementsMedical degree5 years NHS (UK) Hospital experienceCompletion of an accredited ENTValid medical license to practice as an ENT ConsultantBoard certification or equivalent specialist registrationStrong surgical and clinical decision-making skillsExcellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities ExperienceSeveral years of post-qualification experience in ENT practiceExperience in subspecialties such as Head & Neck Surgery, Otology, Rhinology, or Laryngology is an advantage Work EnvironmentHospital or specialized ENT clinic settingIncludes outpatient clinics, operating theatres, and emergency care services Locations Available: GlasgowWhat you will need Must be registered to the GMC Licence to practice up to date Right to work in the UK and live in the UK PVGDon't delay, apply todayApply Now
