Temporary Backshift Production Operator – Food Manufacturing

Location: Uddingston

Shift: Day shift – Monday to Thursday 7am-3.30pm and Friday 7am-2.30pm

Contract: Temporary on going

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour

We are currently recruiting a Day shift Production Operator to join our clients food manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous food production or factory experience who is reliable, detail‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
Handling, assembling, and packing food products to quality standards
Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times
Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and equipment
Working effectively as part of a team to meet production targets

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience within a food production environment
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, punctual, and able to work backshift hours
Basic English communication skills (spoken and written)
