Join a growing division of a well-established business, part of a FTSE 100 company, undergoing significant investment with new machinery and modernised production facilities. This is an opportunity to take a hands-on role leading a small team of specialist Operatives, driving output, quality and safety while supporting ongoing growth. You'll play a key role in ensuring the site meets demanding productivity targets and customer expectations.

About the Role:

Lead, motivate and manage a small production team on shift
Provide clear direction, coaching and performance feedback
Plan and schedule daily and weekly production activities
Monitor production performance against KPIs, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency and productivity
Ensure full compliance with quality and health & safety procedures, promoting a strong quality and safety culture on the shop floor
Coordinate resource allocation across machines and lines
Supervise the operation of manufacturing machinery and equipment
Prepare and deliver reports, highlighting performance trends, downtime causes and improvement opportunitiesAbout you:

Proven experience in a production supervisory or team leader role within a manufacturing environment
Experience in manufacturing for construction
Strong leadership and team supervisory skills, with the ability to drive performance and maintain high engagement levels
Demonstrable experience of production planning and scheduling
Solid understanding of quality control, quality assurance and health & safety compliance
Experience managing resource allocation and cost control
Good working knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot operational issuesIf you're a proven Supervisor or Team Leader with experience in manufacturing for construction and the drive to help shape a growing, well-invested operation, we'd like to hear from you.

You can expect:

Salary c£35,000
Bonus based on output and productivity
25 days' holiday + Bank Holidays (increasing after 5 years)
