Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Team Leader (Mechanical) to lead and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities at a key UK manufacturing site. Working Monday to Friday, 8am4pm, you will take ownership of planned, preventative and corrective maintenance, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with operational priorities. Proven leadership experience is essential, with the ability to manage and develop a team, lead contractors, prioritise workloads and maintain high standards of safety and performance. You will ideally have a mechanical maintenance background within the oil and gas, chemical, process or a similar heavy industrial environment, supported by a relevant trade apprenticeship. Experience with CMMS, critical spares management and maintenance engineering standards is important, while COMAH site experience, an HNC in Mechanical Engineering and an IOSH or NEBOSH qualification would be advantageous. Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills are essential, alongside a commitment to continuous improvement and developing others. The successful candidate will benefit from a competitive employment package, including 33 days' annual leave inclusive of bank holidays, enhanced pension and company sick pay, life assurance, healthcare benefits, an Employee Assistance Programme and enhanced family leave.
