Location: Wolverhampton
Rate: Approximately £27 per hour
Contract: Initial 3-month assignment
M-Tec Engineering Solutions is currently recruiting for an Interim Warehouse & Despatch Supervisor to join a growing and evolving manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton.
This is an initial 3-month contract, offering an opportunity for an experienced warehouse and despatch professional to support day-to-day operations, maintain efficient material flow and ensure customer orders are dispatched on time.
The Role

Oversee the day-to-day running of warehouse and despatch operations.

Supervise and coordinate warehouse personnel, ensuring workloads and priorities are managed effectively.

Coordinate incoming materials, stock movements, picking, packing and outgoing deliveries.

Ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and dispatched to agreed deadlines.

Maintain stock accuracy and ensure appropriate inventory control procedures are followed.

Liaise with Production, Planning and other internal departments to ensure materials and finished goods flow efficiently.

Monitor performance, resolve operational issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure warehouse activities comply with health and safety requirements and company procedures.
The Person

Previous experience in a Warehouse, Stores or Despatch Supervisory role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Experience supervising warehouse personnel and coordinating day-to-day workloads.

Good understanding of stock control, inventory management and despatch processes.

Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

A hands-on approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Available to start at short notice and committed to an initial 3-month assignment.
