Are you an experienced Pipe Bender, Tube Bender or Tube Forming Operative looking for a permanent role with a 4-day working week?

We're recruiting for a specialist manufacturing business in Downton, offering £17–£21 per hour depending on experience, five weeks' holiday rising to six, and additional company benefits.

This role would suit someone with experience setting and operating pipe or tube-bending machinery, who takes pride in producing accurate components to engineering drawings and quality standards.

Setting and operating manual and/or CNC pipe-bending machinery.
Bending pipes and tubes to specified angles, dimensions and tolerances.
Selecting and fitting the correct tooling for each job.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, job cards and manufacturing instructions.
Inspecting finished components using appropriate measuring equipment.
Identifying and reporting defects, dimensional issues and tooling problems.
Completing production and traceability documentation.
Maintaining machinery and tooling, keeping the work area clean and organised.
Following all quality, health and safety procedures.What we're looking for

Previous experience in pipe bending, tube bending or tube forming.
Experience setting and operating relevant bending equipment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Understanding of dimensional tolerances and inspection requirements.
Experience working with aluminium, stainless steel, titanium or similar materials would be advantageous.
Aerospace, automotive or other precision manufacturing experience is desirable.
A reliable, quality-focused approach and the ability to work accurately with limited supervision.Interested?
