The Opportunity

We are keen to hear from RE Teachers interested in future supply assignments across Weston-super-Mare. You could be delivering lessons covering a range of religious and non-religious worldviews, ethics, philosophy and contemporary issues, helping pupils develop their understanding and critical-thinking skills.

As this is a speculative advert, opportunities will depend on school demand and are not guaranteed immediately.

Your Responsibilities

Deliver engaging RE lessons across KS3 and KS4

Cover topics including world religions, ethics, philosophy and beliefs

Follow school schemes of work and curriculum expectations

Support GCSE Religious Studies classes where required

Maintain effective behaviour management and classroom routines

Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback where required

Create an inclusive environment that encourages discussion and independent thought
