Classroom Talent is working in partnership with a specialist school in Wandsworth, South West London, that supports children and young people with complex autism and additional needs.

The school is looking to appoint a Maths Teacher on a permanent, full-time basis, starting in November 2026 or January 2027.

JOB DESCRIPTION – Maths Teacher

• Full-time, permanent Maths Teacher position
• £41,729 - £64,484 Inner London Pay Sclae -MPS/UPS + £2,700 SEN Allowance
• November 2026 or January 2027 start
• Maximum of 8 pupils per class with 2 Teaching Assistants
• Deliver engaging and appropriately differentiated Maths lessons
• Adapt teaching to meet individual pupil needs
• Monitor and support individual pupil progress
• Work closely with TAs and the wider specialist team
• Create a positive, structured and supportive learning environment

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION – Maths Teacher

• Qualified Maths Teacher with QTS or QTLS
• ECT Maths Teachers are encouraged to apply
• Strong Maths subject knowledge
• Passionate, patient and adaptable classroom practitioner
• Able to adapt teaching to different abilities and individual needs
• Mainstream and specialist teachers considered
• Previous SEND or autism experience is beneficial but not essential
