Sales Executive

GBR Recruitment Ltd are delighted to be working exclusively with a long standing & highly progressive industrial & commercial paints, oils, lubricants, coatings & sealants business.

They are expanding their sales / business development team, recruiting for an experienced Sales Executive who has worked with similar products supplying into a diverse array of end using clients across agriculture, plant machinery, automotive, logistics (hauliers), off highway, marine, engineering, manufacturing & other industry sectors.

As the Sales Executive you will develop & grow business within local dealerships, distributors, commercial businesses, farms, estates, workshops, OEMS & generally anywhere that need to purchase oils, paints, lubricants etc. for their machinery & equipment to either manufacture or service their own.

This key business development role covers Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire & Northamptonshire & is 80% on the road field based, with one day a week working in the head office.

Duties:

• Field based sales & business development activities
• Maintain, develop & expand product/s spend levels with current clients
• Up sell & cross sell into current clients additional products
• New business development, pitching to & winning new clients
• Mapping out of the territory & pin pointing target clients (new clients)
• Defining & delivering a sales strategy that delivers tangible results
• Market research & market intelligence gathering
• Updating the internal CRM system
• Attending industry events & exhibitions
• Face to face, telephone & email sales activities
• Completing documents & sales reports

Attributes:

• Experienced sales / business development professional with experience or at least some knowledge of industrial & commercial paints, oils, lubricants, coatings & sealant type products or very similar product lines.
• Experienced selling into clients across several of the following sectors; agriculture, plant machinery, automotive, logistics (hauliers), off highway, marine, engineering & manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of business opportunities in the Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire & Northamptonshire areas.
• Happy to be field based 80% of the time.
• Able to manage your own diary successfully to achieve real results

This role would suit someone working as a Sales Executive, Business Development Executive, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager, Territory Sales Manager, Sales Representative, Key Account Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Regional Business Development Manager, Field Sales Manager, Field Sales Representative or similar with similar sales & business development responsibilities.

This position would suit those living in Grantham, Stamford, Newark, Corby, Bourne, Peterborough, Oundle, Wisbech, Sleaford, Spalding, Market Deeping, Holbeach, Bourne & Lincoln.
