Your new company
A leading operator within the energy and process sector, this organisation plays a key role in supporting critical industrial infrastructure across multiple sites. With a strong focus on safety, reliability and continuous improvement, they offer a technically challenging environment where maintenance professionals can make a real impact on plant performance and operational excellence.
Your new role
As a Senior E&I Technician, you will support the safe and reliable operation of multiple process plants by carrying out and coordinating both preventative and corrective maintenance activities. Working closely with the E&I Team Leader, you will help plan and execute maintenance strategies, provide technical support on electrical and instrumentation issues, and play a key role in plant shutdowns. You will also maintain accurate maintenance records within the CMMS, support fault-finding activities, and assist in the development of apprentices and junior team members.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have significant Electrical & Instrumentation maintenance experience gained within a process manufacturing, chemical, oil & gas or similarly regulated industrial environment. You will have strong fault-finding skills and a good understanding of process instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow and level measurement systems. Experience supporting maintenance shutdowns, working with CMMS systems, and providing technical leadership within a maintenance team is highly desirable. A recognised engineering apprenticeship and relevant E&I qualifications will be beneficial.
What you'll get in return
You'll join a stable and well-established business that invests in its people and assets, offering a varied and technically challenging role across multiple sites. In return, you'll benefit from a days-based working pattern, opportunities for overtime, involvement in major maintenance and shutdown projects, ongoing professional development, and the chance to progress your career within a safety-focused engineering environment.
